The Rotary Club of Naperville Sunrise is pledging $2,000 to West Suburban Community Pantry in our continuing effort to support the Pantry during this critical COVID-19 pandemic period of need. Our goal for the drive is to exceed $5,000 in total donation which translates to over 10,000 meals!
THE NEED AT WEST SUBURBAN COMMUNITY PANTRY
Our community is weathering an economic and health crisis of epic proportions and West Suburban Community Pantry is meeting the increased needs of today and is preparing for continued challenges in the weeks and months to come. This means we will help over 1,800 individuals get the food they need each week during this crisis.
Over the last few weeks, WSCP has seen a 50% increase in the need for food. Normally serving 300-350 families a week, we are now on track to provide groceries to 500 families weekly, if not more.
We know that the need in our community will continue to increase, and the effects will be felt for many months, if not years, for our most vulnerable neighbors. But, taking care of our community is core to everything WSCP values. Now, more than ever, this is our guiding principle and our inspiration. Please join us!
